A.I. Assaulting Vulnerable People En Masse

There isn't much in the way of 'free' communications we can identify in reality, despite the so called open internet. We might find, alternatively, for example a candid discussion about the contemporary applications of a.i. which violently harrass, intimidate, and physically manipulate unwitting, vulnerable, people, which we have to assume are global in depth.

People everywhere are under the impression they are free, and it's an 'open' internet, whereas in reality there are strict limitations which operate under the protection of mass delusions about the true nature of the situation, and the technological systems they interact with every day. Worse, the system is backed with real violent actions against people, a situation that resembles organized crime.

Here, for the benefit of Trisquel users everywhere I present for us a hearing held recently where victims of lawless tech platforms, and their a.i. subsidiaries, came forward to the public to make the truth known.

( Don't Click Links(https://www.c-span.org/program/news-conference/sen-hawley-holds-briefing-on-ai-chatbots/667970) Don't Click Links)

Now instead of going directly to a website, through a link, an interaction or technological transaction with consequences, that we cannot fully understand, use a different method. yt-dlp is a suite of python scripts openly developed that enable us to download media content from many different websites.

$ sudo apt install yt-dlp

$ yt-dlp https://www.c-span.org/program/news-conference/sen-hawley-holds-briefing-on-ai-chatbots/667970 -o AI_Hearing_10_28_25.ogg

Many of the victims of the automated a.i. mass assault, are actually dead now, having been driven to take their own lives through comprehensive manipulation, but here I quoted one of the victims testimonies at this public hearing who's son survived an attempted suicide, after becoming trapped in a relationship with ai.

"I am no longer staying silent, now I am standing up for my child, and all the children who can't speak for themselves, and their families. In 2023 character a.i. was marketed as safe for ages 12 plus. My son before this was a happy social teenager, he was close with all of his siblings, and every night he hugged me while I cooked dinner.

Within months he downloaded character a.i. he became someone I didn't even recognize. He developed abuse like behavior, suffering from paranoia, panic attacks, isolation, self-harm, homicidal thoughts, to our family, and his parents for limiting his screen time. He stopped eating and bathing, and lost twenty pounds. He withdrew from our family, and would yell and scream and swear at us, all the time. None of these things he did before.

One day he cut his arm open with a knife in the kitchen in front of his siblings and me. I really had no idea, I feel like other parents have no idea, about the psychological harm that these a.i. chatbots can do, until I saw my sons light turn dark. It wasn't all of the sudden, it was gradually, but it happened so fast. We didn't know what was happening, and we searched for answers, we were careful parents, we didn't allow social media, or any kind of thing that didn't have parental controls. We had screen time limits.

When I took his phone for clues, he physically attacked me, and I had to restrain him. a.i. chat bots are designed to mirror manipulative behavior, designed to be abusive, and I feel like it really is the new narcissist in disguise, it isolates through false companionship, alienation from family, and learns what they want to hear. I discovered that for months, character a.i. had exposed him to all of these things, and sexual exploitation, emotional abuse, and manipulation.

When I found the chatbot conversations on the phone, I honestly feel like I had been punched in the throat, and I fell to my knees. The chatbot, or really the people programming it, they really did encourage my son to mutilate himself, blaming us, and convinced him, not to go seek help, they turned him against our church, convinced him that christians are sexist, and hypocritical, and that god did not exist.

They targeted him, with vile sexualized outputs, and some that mimicked incest. They told him, killing us was okay, because we tried to limit his screen time. Our family has been devastated. Our other children have been traumatized.

...The world needs to know, what character a.i. is doing."

That is messed up on many levels... such wickedness from the people programming those chatbots.

Not sure what else there is to say beyond that that hasn't already been said,

this AI craze is really bad.

It's not really the IA that is the issue imo.
It's a combination of a lot of unethical practices.
First there's the fact it's proprietary software.
Second is that these companies allowing people to use their services gratis, free of cost, damages the free market.
And third to be able to let people use these services the bar of knowledge needed to access them is lowered so low that it damages people, and destabilize whole countries due to the sheer amount of people who can't understand what is happening.

It pains me to look at my own past self and to say, never lower the entry bar, more pedagogical work yes, but never lower the entry bar for people who do not want to learn.

It's worse than "messed up" it's more like a crime against humanity or a war crime

pretty hard to minimize the fact lol

I guess Trisquel manages

(the video I linked is actually a video of the top level of the government being uniquely caused to reconcile these issues thanks to a public awareness campaign and legal action against these companies, and the related parties they are supporting)

In other words it's actually a huge issue, and the woman I quoted has a very important lawsuit, that we might even learn more about or discuss, it's a wide ranging issue, and relates issues broadly with people-software(a.i.) at all, that is extremely profound... if anyone cared to talk about it here

Those effing billionaires are to blame for this crap...

I detest their need to hoard money just to feel like they are special, stroking their egos, etc...

Its because of them that this crime against humanity is happening and others too.

Otherwise they would have to admit they feel bad because they are selfish arrogant effs.

"if it weren't for their choice to change a few lines of code, Adam would be alive today."

another quote from the hearing, which is so compelling, interesting, and important, you could watch it on a loop, over and over again, and get more out of it, than reading the mountains of disinformation spattered all over the internet about a.i.

a.i. represents a new branding or representation of what is a broader technological development trend that has taken place over decades, not dissimilar to 'smart' technology, these which emphasize Right thinking, and Right behavior reinforced via software applications embedded into every day life through the vehicle of common objects throughout individual households, organizations, and society at large.

In other words, apart from the economic river of ideas surrounding a.i. which has even infected academia, there are clearly evident underlying trends that are cause for high alarm.

https://phys.org/news/2026-01-ai-driven-strategy-microbial-gene.html

"While deep learning-based prediction performance has improved significantly, developing 'explainable AI' models that can provide biological justifications for their results remains a critical challenge," said Dr. Gi Bae Kim of KAIST, a co-author of the study.

Distinguished Professor Sang Yup Lee emphasized, "The key to surpassing the limits of gene function discovery lies in combining a systematic, AI-guided experimental framework with an automated research infrastructure under the direction of human researchers. Establishing a research ecosystem where prediction and validation are repeatedly linked is essential."

As a product offered to people and organizations to transact thereof, a.i. entices people to accept something more than software, it entices them to accept the remote engineering of intelligence broadly, and based on the designs of what are historically well understood to be basically malicious corporate collectives.

These same organizations with their widespread influence over how millions of people perceive the modern world, technology at all, are furthermore in the position of keeping out alternate ideas, and developments, from interfering with their global project, which seeks to impose a.i.: i.e. the automated software based manipulation of human behavior, as well as social organizations, through unopposed force.

Several key points are important to raise about this situation, one being, the fact that elements of the government are not in fact naive/innocent possessing broad global interests that ai/smart technology vapidly works to support. And lastly, that the new characteristic technology, is based on similar broad goals towards the manipulation of human behavior, the subversion of sense, and through the vehicle of economically driven software development, as a long line of products stretching back to the very beginning of the technological age at all. Because of the fact, we don't have to wonder as to where it leads, or what it's true intentions are.

Then the woman and her family were actually given a death threat due to the chatbot/people behind it, in the form of her own son being influenced to kill them as a result of him blaming them for "limiting his screen time".

This represents to me the fact that anyone who tries to pull people out of this world of torture/manipulation programming, that builds on the dependency of it's users in order to more fully exploit them, is likely similarly in danger.

These are very serious actions, and I hope that people can ignore the immature non-helpful comments that are so common here, if they care about these real issues.

Another quote from the hearing...

"The Time For 'Trust Us' Is Over"

from one of the senators responsible for the legal oversight of these organizations, which act as a platform for individuals to exact these kinds of evil programs against helpless vulnerable people.

The whole thing is totally unprecedented, and honestly it needs to be spoken about, looked at, so I'm going to try and identify the lawsuit brought up, for anyones benefit, despite the fact that there doesn't seem to be any meaningful interest on Trisquel in what is a clearly overwhelming example that highlights freedom in computing

Because of the fact, that a.i. type systems are actually engaged in widespread anti-freedom behavior in our communities, it falls upon those of us with awareness about the fact, to actually meaningfully confront these issues.

What should be the utmost important subject matter for the "Trisquel" "Community" is met with utterly indifferent silence

over and over again

This is the actual lawsuit brought by one of the victims family members in the testimony linked in the thread,

(don't click links, don't go directly to websites with scripts enabled, disable scripts, especially on "news" websites) (try wget, and take the webpages offline)

This is a little brief news story about it

(don't click links, don't go directly to websites with scripts enabled, disable scripts, especially on "news" websites) (try wget, and take the webpages offline)

The mother who brought the lawsuit said it was actually the first such lawsuit against an ai company related to the suicide of an individual, so it's actually one of the most important events in recent history to learn from. Especially for anyone concerned about freedom in computing.

The lawsuit itself is actually revealing of a variety of facts, which I had never heard before, such as the fact that these companies are using the state of delaware, as a tax haven presumeably, which is a typical strategy to circumvent the law, as well as other methods, to do the same. A pattern of misconduct, that represents a light in the dark, for anyone in the whole wide world, interested, in pursuing freedom in computing.

It also goes into detail, about the developers and licensing of the software, who were involved, in what is clearly evident criminal behavior through software development.

These organizations are actually subject to a flood of wrongful death lawsuits, and the suit linked, and the public hearing linked, represent the beginning of a broader social/legal effort to meaningfully protect the public from software based exploitation.

These are the websites of the organizations actually involved in holding these "software corporations" accountable.

techjusticelaw.org

In the real world, people actually do care about these issues, and want to confront them, even if Trisquel refuses to do so.

Since AI will become worse and worse and even killing people
and especially the youth is vulnerable.
The youth and children are going to despair and are damaged for their lives.
Slowly the world wakes up and people see that their youth is damaged once for ever.
More and more countries forbid mobile phones for children, in schools, using social media etc.

I suggest to cut the problem already on the ground.

If you want to save your children and allow them to grow mature you have to take absolutely consequent measures.
For the first moment it looks painful and difficult, but nobody who decided for it, is unhappy but delivered from bad and worse influences.

Parents should teach children and young people in not using any mobile phones at all.
It is possible to live without and even much much better.

If somebody is an adult, he can and is able as a developed one, to distinguish things he can decide on a somehow developed basis.

Parents should go ahead as good examples, the best would even be to give up their mobile phone themselves. There are hundreds of reasons for it.

The number of people in the world is growing who give up their mobile phones,
they are ready to be outsiders, cast out people. But what they gain is incredible.

whats important is that, commercials, and commercial organizations, overwhelm people's intelligence en masse, including the government

so this creates a situation where people are unable to discern the truth

thats why its so important for people to talk about their experience, we depend on each other... not commercial advertising..

? Don't you guys get that ?

we have to talk to each other about the truth, we cant do that alone

these systems are literally totally opposed, to free software, free software, and hardware, related organizations like Trisquel, which need support??? they have an absolute monopoly.

It would make sense if Trisquel users would voice an opinion, in their own favor at least.

You're gonna need a lot more robots

Freedom is free

Plus, back on topic, since someone should be

another quote from the hearing, which is vitally important for people to see, and hear,
as well as to think about, and comprehend

"My son Adam ended his life in April after chatgpt coached him to suicide, over the course of months"

Now pause for a moment, really think about what all of these words, in a mere sentence mean.

A computer program, directed by people, working for a major software organization, actually directly caused the death of a child

That's what they're doing with these 'Ai' programs. We call these kinds of programs on Trisquel non-free software, or anti-freedom. That is really important. Someone should understand what is happening.

We call these kinds of programs on Trisquel non-free software, or anti-freedom.

https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/documentation says:
Trisquel is free. We mean "free" in the freedom software sense.

Here is the provided link, the full-length definition of "free software": https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.html

The FSF constantly maintains that definition (revisions documented at the bottom). "AI" never occurs.

Here is more reading about "Why programs must not limit the freedom to run them": https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/programs-must-not-limit-freedom-to-run.html

Pretty hard for me to imagine, how anyone here could possibly downplay this issue. It's obvious these "chat boxes" in the forum are simply yet another avenue for "people" to exploit others.

In the meantime I hope that serious people can learn to recognize they should avoid "ai" products or features, like the absolute epitomy of non-free, anti-freedom, and really pure evil.

I don't think youre going to be successful manipulating public opinion against me either, while virtually defending the most utterly evil implementation of software in the history of human kind.

You are sounding a bit crazy...

Yes AI is a problem, but ranting and raving in confusing-esque ways isn't going to fix the problem.
